Bio: MR. ROBERT CHARTRAND carried out ground penetrating surveys at Fort Raleigh in the fall of 2021; and with Eric Deetz, a Phase One archaeology survey of the western edge of the Elizabethan Gardens.

Chartrand received a BS in Geology and Archaeology from Salem State; a graduate certificate in Geographic Information Systems from VCU; and an MA in Archaeology from William & Mary.

His professional career includes being Archaeological Field Supervisor with Jamestown Rediscovery prior to establishing his own company–Chartrand Geo-archaeological Solutions.
