Site One: Native Americans & the Lost Colonists’ Fate

From 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM at The Lost Colony’s indoor Gazebo Theatre at Fort Raleigh full day of 9 half-hour presentations and discussion panels.

Presenters will focus on The Carolina Algonquians and the fate of Sir Walter Raleigh’s ‘Lost Colony’.

Site Two: General Billy Mitchell

Happening concurrently in a separate location, a full-day event from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM A full day devoted to General Billy Mitchell, the controversial founder of the US Air Force—includes a public-oriented presentation, screening of a bio-pic, interactive discussions, and a Field Trip.

The day will be filled with a presentation and interactive discussion by Dr. Doug Lantry and National Park Service Interpreters.

Morning Session:

9:00 AM – 11: 50 PM – Pioneer Theatre, Budleigh Street in Manteo
